The
simple fact of the matter is that the only difference between
a boat and a yacht is the way it is maintained. My clientele entrust the COMPLETE
care and maintenance of their yachts to me. I make sure all routine
maintenance gets done at the proper interval-oil changes on all machinery,
cooling system services, fuel system service, alignments, care of the
tenders, watermakers, EVERYTHING on board gets cared for.
This includes
keeping the yacht on a washing, buffing, waxing and brightwork schedule.
Some of my clients e-mail or fax a provisioning list to me so their yacht if
"fully found" so all they have to do when they arrive is to light off the
engines and get underway.
At the end of their cruises, trip cleaning is performed, the boat is fueled
up, water topped off, holding tank pumped out, neccesary repairs performed,
so their yacht is ready to go for the next cruise! Their yacht can also be
delivered right to the cruising grounds, fueled up, cleaned up, ready for
the owners to come aboard and get underway and at the end of the trip,
returned to her home port and made ready for the next trip. |
