My teaching experience includes the Annapolis Sailing School-on the Chesapeake Bay and in the Caribbean. Part of this was teaching their offshore sailing school delivering boats between those 2 locales.

I have also logged thousands of hours in the Puget Sound area teaching aboard motor and sailing vessels. Docking, manuvering in close quarters and in heavy weather, man overboard drills, navigation are just a few of the skills you and your crew should possess before getting underway.
